Kurt Hamby
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founding partner of RSDI. Kurt is RSDI’s instrumentation lead, responsible for instrumentation solutions sourcing, design and implementation. A former DOD contractor, Kurt has delivered communications and instrumentation solutions to more than 100 remote sites by using renewable energy and wireless technologies. Kurt has designed and deployed numerous fiber optics systems in difficult terrain environments including deserts, mountains and swamps — many accessible by helicopter and/or 4WD vehicles only. Over half these sites were ‘green field’ where Kurt also led site development including construction planning, energy and community sustainment activities. Kurt lives in North Carolina with his family.
Brendan Reilly
Chief Training Officer (CTO). Brendan has over 30 years project management and leadership experience leading multinational and diverse teams. He has significant experience in managing outcomes in challenging and isolated developing world locations such as Rwanda, East Timor and Afghanistan. Brendan has managed international training projects and associated resources with multi-million dollar budgets. Additionally, he has worked in the private security industry as a consultant and personal protection specialist and in various training and management positions. As a soldier and contractor, has worked continuously in close cooperation with development agencies and local national people from village elders up to national government level to achieve best practice solutions. Brendan is a former soldier with the Australian Army, current defense contractor and lives in France with his family.
Angela Reilly
Chief Operation Officer (COO). Angela is responsible for the day-to-day global operations of the company to include strategic planning, marketing, business development and efficient management of RSDI’s operating facilities. Prior to RSDI, Angela served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a judge advocate and project manager serving in a variety of legal positions and managing legal offices across the globe. She designed training programs and information resources management systems. She has worked with coalition forces in Middle East and trained Georgian forces prior to deployment. For her last assignment she served as the Operations Officer for Wounded Warrior Regiment. Angela lives in France with her family.
